Clyde's Closet

In honor of Clyde, a beloved dog whose journey continues to touch the hearts of many, we are proud to announce the grand opening of Clyde's Closet, a unique little free pet pantry dedicated to supporting pets and their devoted owners in our community. Clyde's Closet officially opened in May of 2024, providing a wide range of essential pet supplies to those in need.

Services

Clyde’s Closet aims to ensure that no pet or pet owner has to go without the necessary resources they need to thrive, and that no pet is surrendered to a rescue or shelter for lack of resources.

 

Founded out of compassion and a deep understanding of the bond between humans and their animal companions, Clyde’s Closet goes beyond traditional food pantries by offering a variety of items that are often unavailable but essential for pets' well-being.

Items we may have (depending on availability and space):

  • Toys

  • Leashes/Collars/Harnesses

  • Dog/Cat treats

  • Dog/Cat dishes

  • Diapers/Pee Pads

  • Supplements

  • Carriers/Crates

  • Shampos/Skin Care

  • Steps/Ramps

  • Eye/Dental Care items

  • And more...

  • Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pickup Options
Available year-round, Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM


Pickup is not available on public open days or Sundays

To request a pickup item: 

Rules

  1. Please only take what you need so others may also receive help as well.

  2. If you remove something from a shelf or knock something over, put it back.

  3. Do not make a mess.

  4. If an item is not on the shelves, it is not available. You may request something using the Request Supplies button.

  5. Do not dig through or remove items from the donation bin.

  6. Do not, under any circumstances, approach our personal dogs if they are outside.

  7. Do not come to our door (our home) looking for items. Being home does not make us available. 

  8. Any needs beyond what is available in the pantry must be requested through Facebook, email, or our website (the request supplies button).

  9. Dispose of cigarette butts in the provided receptacle, not on the ground.

Failure to follow the rules will result in you being asked to leave and not return. 

Donations

  • Please leave physical donations in the box located next to Clyde's Closet.

    • Monetary donations can be left in the box next to the door or a donation be made here. (just note the donation is for Clyde's Closet)

  • For those unable to donate directly, we have created a Wishlist on Amazon.

Pick-Up

  • Requests are answered within 24 hours.

  • If you used the request form, check your spam folder.

  • If you do not hear from us within 24 hours, please contact us again.

  • A specific pickup date and time will be provided.

Pickup Process

  • Items are placed in a clearly marked, locked pickup bin.

  • A pickup code is sent directly to the requester.

  • This keeps donated items secure and protected from animals.

Pickup Requirements

  • Items must be picked up within 24 hours of the scheduled time.

  • If items are not picked up and we do not hear from you, items will be returned and future pickup options will not be offered.

  • If you cannot make your scheduled pickup time, notify us as soon as possible so we can reschedule.

Courtesy Notice

  • Pickup coordination takes place outside of our regular workdays and family time.

  • Please only request items if you can commit to pickup or communicate promptly about changes.
