Mandy Lewis is the dedicated founder and president of ADL. While Mandy is your go-to contact for urgent medical situations and emergencies, she also welcomes any general questions or requests for guidance. Her door is always open to help you navigate any challenges you may face.

Meet Anne Baranski, one of the key figures in ensuring we have loving foster homes for the dogs in our program. Alongside Ally Immel, you will find them both actively posting about dogs seeking foster placements in our private group. They are here to assist you with respite fostering during travel or vacations, as well as helping to relocate a foster if needed.
In addition, with her expertise on dogs and writing, and the support of Megan Hjertstedt, Anne ensures that every dog shines in their listings, maximizing their chances for adoption. If you have questions about getting your dog listed or need to update their bio, Anne and Megan are your go-to duo. Please be sure to include them both via Facebook messenger.
Most importantly, when she’s not busy saving lives, Anne serves on our board of directors, playing a crucial role in the success of our organization. Her dedication and passion for animal welfare make her an invaluable asset to our team!
Meet Ally Immel, a vital member of our team dedicated to finding loving foster homes for the dogs in our program. Alongside Anne Baranski, Ally actively shares information about dogs looking for foster placements in our private group. She also assists with respite fostering for travel or vacations, as well as helping with any necessary relocations of foster dogs.
In addition, Ally serves as our Records Coordinator. She ensures that all dog records are received, reviewed, and maintained, keeping fosters informed about the medical care each dog needs as they transition into their foster homes.
Ally's passion for animal welfare and her meticulous attention to detail make her an invaluable asset to our mission of helping every dog in need!

Lisa is an invaluable addition to our transport team, having successfully managed several of our Tennessee transports and provided vital support at our events. She will now be working alongside Lorrie to coordinate our Tennessee drivers, ensuring both the dogs and drivers reach Wisconsin safely. In addition, Lisa will be instrumental in organizing local transports for dogs in need, continuing her commitment to making a difference in the lives of our furry friends. We're lucky to have her on board!
Kyleigh is our go-to media expert for all things transport-related. She plays a key role in promoting each dog prior to their transport by securing sponsorships and creating heartfelt dog arrival videos after transport. Beyond her media work, Kyleigh is always available to assist fosters and volunteers with any questions or support they may need during the transport process. If you're at the lounge on Transport Sunday, don't hesitate to reach out to the wonderful Kyleigh for guidance—she’s always ready to help!
Meghan has been a dedicated and active member of our rescue for several years, gaining a deep understanding of how our organization runs. We are incredibly grateful that she has stepped up to join our leadership team as a Volunteer Coordinator. Meghan is a kind, compassionate individual who will be an invaluable asset to our team, offering guidance and support to new volunteers (non-fosters) as they navigate their journey with us. Her wealth of knowledge, and the support of Rebecca, will ensure that our volunteers feel supported and inspired to make a difference.
Meet Karrie Rogers, our go-to expert for ordering supplies from Amazon and Chewy! If you need items shipped—whether it’s food, coats, supplements, or more—Karrie is here to help. Just a quick note: if you’re close to our headquarters in Whitewater, WI, we encourage you to pick up supplies in person before placing any online orders.
In addition to ensuring our dogs have high-quality food and supplies, Karrie is also the primary point of contact for scheduling appointments at HAWS (the low-cost vet) in Milwaukee. If you’re interested in setting up an appointment, Karrie will be more than happy to assist and coordinate everything for you.
